EIG旗下多家销售虚拟主机的网站，配置都不错，性价比挺高的。虽然得只支持信用卡或绑定信用卡的PAYPAL支付，但是时不时还推出虚拟主机1美元使用一年的给力优惠。前几天北山美国主机评论就用一美元使用一年的优惠码在iPage上注册了一个，付款后才发现FTP连不上，ping一下也ping不通，最终得出结论IP被封了！本来也想买一个的，但看到这篇博文后就觉得应该联系下客服后再行动。

先说说EIG这家公司的网站用户注册怪异之处，我用的是谷歌的chrome浏览器。在注册成网站用户的注册页面没看到 USERNAME （用户名）的填写项，填写完其他基本资料后点提交总是提示未输入 用户名和用户 密码 不能注册！此时头上一群乌鸦飞过！在尝试了N次之后，在IE浏览器打开注册页面，一切正常。USERNAME （用户名）和 PASSWORD（密码）的填写项终于浮现了！此处一疑问，EIG公司与谷歌公司有过节？？？

前天发现的ipower一美元使用优惠，今天已过期。前天发现时我先是呼叫了在ipower网站的普通在线客服，想先跟他要一个测试IP，来PING一下。他先说是我不是他们网站的用户不能提供，再说明情况（朋友注册的空间中国不能访问）之后，他给我一个新网址联系公司技术客服。技术客服很热情给了两个IP，推荐的PING不通，另一个400多ms。再道明是中国人后，他说了公司出于安全原因已基本不给身处中国的用户注册和服务了！所以在中国不能访问到ipower/iPage等EIG旗下网站的虚拟主机是正常的，IP被封就封，更别指望其优化对中国的线路。
